SAP Process Integration
The SAP Process Integration (SAP PI, formerly SAP Exchange Infrastructure XI), part of SAP NetWeaver, is a Middleware component, which connects, as an enterprise application integration platform, SAP systems with non SAP systems. Thereby XI since version 3.0, which is available since the end of 2004 provides a process integration, which can be displayed graphically and which uses BPEL. SAP PI (Process Integration) is a further development of SAP XI (Exchange Infrastructure).
